Challenge #5
Challenge # 5 for My Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-5.html , make something 3D:
Challenge #4
Challenge #4 for My Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-4.html is to have something with a Mother's Day theme...and here's mine:
My mom's fave color is orange, so I knew that I needed to incorporate that. I saw the high heel and the rest is history. I started off with Craft Card Stock. Using the Forever Young cricut cartridge I made the high heel and the tag. I already had the button and my daughter shared her ribbon with me. The floral paper is by Confetti and the gold is from Stampin Up. I used my Bic Mark it in meadow green for my writing. I also used the forever young cartridge for the words shoe in..but i trimmed them up from "shoes" and "bling" !!
challenge #3
ok, so the 3rd challenge is to make something with the breast cancer awareness theme :http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-3.html
Here's mine:
I wanted to incorporate celebrating the lives for those who gave a good fight, and those of us who continue to either help the fight or are fighting the fight. I used white card stock for the base and distressed the edges with Stampin Up "lovely lilac", then used some purple paper for the next layer. I used black ribbon across the top from making memories. I used my cricut to cut out the words life, 4 , the cure...and then drew out the ribbon and used my straight edge to cut it out. I used my "celebrate" stamp from CTMH A Twinkle in black ink and then used CTMH petite perks butterfly stamp in white across the ribbon. But you know me...it didn't quite look right..sooooo a little bit of stickles on the words and butterflies and voila' ...
challenge #2
So the next challenge is to make something with craft. http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/05/national-scrapbook-day-challenge-2.html
Here's mine:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CARD!!!
it came together very easily. I started with craft of course as my base and distressed the edges with Stampin Up Bermuda Bay ink. I had some leftover paper that I bought at Hobby Lobby which I distressed with CTMH chocolate ink. I used some matching ribbon to make a bow. Then I took a piece of cream colored card stock, and used the diamond shaped stamp from CTMH Alphabets Stamp Set. i alternated inks from the Martha Stewart Create aquarium pigment ink pads in the ocean and stem green inks with the stamp and then glued it in place....but something was missing.......
add a "thinking of you" from CTMH Childhood Portrait and voila' finished product!!
national scrapbooking day!!!
well , i know i'm a day late, but i had to work yesterday so i'm getting things done today! Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there that are mothers by the way!
I've decided to participate in the challenges from My Pink Stamper from here :http://www.mypinkstamper.com/. Here is what I have done so far.
Challenge 1 is for anything cupcake:
I used white cardstock as my base and distressed the edges in "chocolate" from CTMH, I used the "Wild Card" cricut cartridge for the cupcake. I think the pink and blue paper is from Stampin Up "royal" line and the polka dot paper came from Hobby Lobby, a few stickles for the "sprinkles" and voila' there's my card!!
